Tony Hayes CEO

Tony (Hannable) Hayes is our Chief Executive Officer.  Tony is a former Horse Gunner, he served with 1st Regt. Royal Horse Artillery from January 1973 until November 1976, then spent four years with Regular Reserves, serving with the South Notts Hussars.  He completed 2 tours of duty in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in1974 and in 1976 while the Regiment was based in Detmold.  Tony served as a driver/radio operator with TAC HQ with both 4 Div and 2 Div, part of 20th Armoured Brigade, driving a 432 AFV and radio operator/artillery Intelligence op.  Tony is a qualified Teacher (PTLLS 3) (ULR2) a qualified counsellor (IAG3) Qualified Vocational Achievement Assessor and a qualified suicide interventionist (ASIST).



Kathy Flynn-Driver - VAUK Secretary.

Kathy has been Secretary with VAUK for about four years, Kathy runs her own sports massage and physiotherapy service and has been involved with charities for many years.



Liz Hayes - Treasurer.

Liz has been a member of the VAUK from the very first day.  Liz worked in the private financial sector for many years and currently works for the DWP Pensions section as a Pension Advisor.



                                                                          Surgeon Rear Admiral Ralph Curr - President - Military Medical Advisor to the Board 




Surgeon Rear Admiral Ralph Curr RN Joined the VAUK board as a Medical Advisor in 2011, Ralph a top surgeon andclinician regarding PTSD Issues, he was head of Naval Medicine Gulf War 2.



                                                                                              Robby Astick - Financial Director VAUK



       Robby Astick joined the Board of the VAUK in February 2016, Robby had helped the VAUK obtain its charity status, we are very pleased he accepted the position of Financial Director with us, Robby is a very experienced fund raiser and has helped a number of organisations obtain funding and has connections in many places throughout the UK and beyond.
